Mustard Dill Beans stand out not just for their sensational taste but also for the myriad of health benefits woven into this flavourful dish. Starting with green beans, the primary ingredient, they’re a nutritional powerhouse packed with vitamins like C, K, and A. These beans offer a generous dose of fibre, promoting digestive health, and are rich in antioxidants, helping combat cell damage caused by free radicals in the body.

The inclusion of fresh dill in this dish brings forth its own set of advantages. Dill is renowned for its antibacterial properties and is a good source of calcium and iron. It contains flavonoids and monoterpenes that contribute to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, potentially aiding in reducing the risk of chronic diseases and promoting overall well-being.

The tangy twist in this recipe comes from wholegrain mustard and lemon juice. Mustard is known to be low in calories and high in antioxidants, while lemon juice offers a burst of vitamin C, aiding in boosting the immune system. Combined with freshly ground pepper, which contains piperine, known for its potential to enhance nutrient absorption, this dish not only tantalizes the taste buds but also serves as a nutritious addition to your diet, promoting a range of health benefits from immune support to anti-inflammatory properties.
