Whole Food Pikelets
Ingredients
- 1 cup plant milk I used soy
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp malt vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1¼ cup wholemeal flour
- ¼ cup apple sauce
- 2 tsp backing powder
- 1 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
- Using a nonstick pan, add small spoonfuls of the batter to the pan. Flip once bubbles have popped, and you can easily slip a spatula underneath.
- Cook oposite side for a further 2 mins then remov
- Repeat until the mix is used.
- Enjoy with a dollop of homemade jam.
