Enjoy our Whole Food Pikelets, fluffy and deliciously plant-based! We’ve perfected the recipe to convert traditional dairy pikelets into a wholesome, vegan delight that retains all the airy texture and flavor you love. Ideal for breakfast or a snack, these pikelets are a guilt-free treat you’ll want to savor!

- 1 cup plant milk I used soy
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp malt vinegar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1¼ cup wholemeal flour
- ¼ cup apple sauce
- 2 tsp backing powder
- 1 tbsp cornflour (cornstarch)
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
Using a nonstick pan, add small spoonfuls of the batter to the pan. Flip once bubbles have popped, and you can easily slip a spatula underneath.
Cook oposite side for a further 2 mins then remov
Repeat until the mix is used.
Enjoy with a dollop of homemade jam.
