Defining WFPB eating

This diagram reflects where WFPB (Whole Food Plant-Based) eating fits alongside a range of eating styles.

WFPB eating is comprised of foods from the right hand side of the table. Strictly speaking sugar, oil, salt and heavily processed foods are avoided by people who are fully WFPB based - especially those that have experienced a serious medical event. Generally speaking, unless you prepare all your food at home, you may not be able to avoid taking in some of these items.

NOTE: In your quest towards better eating, don't let perfect become the enemy of good.
