Air Fried Pineapple

There’s something wonderfully joyful about taking a humble pineapple and turning it into a warm, caramel‑kissed treat that still feels light, bright, and good for you. Air‑frying coaxes out the fruit’s natural sweetness, giving each slice a golden edge while keeping the centre juicy and vibrant. The maple syrup adds depth without overwhelming, cinnamon brings a cosy warmth, and cardamom lifts everything with that fragrant, almost citrusy sparkle.

Beneath the indulgence is a quietly powerful mix of nutrients. Pineapple delivers vitamin C for immune support and skin health, bromelain to help digestion and reduce inflammation, and fibre to keep the gut moving happily. Cinnamon contributes antioxidant richness and gentle blood‑sugar support, while cardamom offers digestive ease and antimicrobial benefits. Maple syrup also adds trace minerals and polyphenols.

It’s the kind of recipe that feels playful and nourishing at the same time—simple ingredients, minimal effort, and a result that tastes like sunshine. Perfect as a warm dessert, a snack, or a bright topping for breakfast bowls. A small reminder that whole‑food cooking can be both wholesome and a little bit fun.

Normally you might find me behind the coding of our sites but over the years I have become much more concerned about what has been happening in the kitchen as well - families do that for all of us don't they? Background experience is in Account Management and Web Development but as my passion has grown for WFPB so has my desire to speak out.
