Refreshment with a Purpose
This alcohol-free twist on the classic mojito is more than just a summer sip—it’s a revitalising blend of fresh mint, lime, maple syrup, ice, and sparkling soda water that supports hydration, digestion, and mood, all in one glass.
- 🌿 Fresh Mint Leaves – Mint is known for its cooling properties and digestive support. It helps relax the stomach muscles, reduce bloating, and freshen breath naturally. Its aroma alone can uplift your mood and calm the senses.
- 🍋 Lime Wedges – Limes are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, which help boost immunity and support skin health. Their tartness also stimulates saliva production, aiding digestion and hydration.
- 🍁 Maple Syrup – A natural sweetener with trace minerals like zinc and manganese, maple syrup offers a gentler glycaemic impact than refined sugar and adds depth to the flavour without compromising wellness.
- ❄️ Ice Cubes – Cooling and hydrating, ice helps regulate body temperature and makes this mocktail especially refreshing on warm days or after physical activity.
- 💧 Soda Water – Sparkling water adds effervescence and encourages hydration. It’s a great alternative to sugary soft drinks, helping you stay refreshed without added calories.
Why It’s More Than Just a Drink
In the shoulder seasons—spring and autumn—our bodies often crave hydration and gentle detoxification. This mocktail offers both, with ingredients that support liver function, digestion, and immune resilience. It’s ideal for those looking to reduce alcohol intake while still enjoying a celebratory, flavourful experience.
Whether served at brunch, garden parties, or as a daily ritual, the Mojito Mocktail is a crisp, clean way to nourish your body and lift your spirits—naturally.

Mojito Mocktail
Ingredients
- 10 fresh mint leaves
- ½ lime cut into wedges
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 cup ice cubes
- ½ cup soda water
Instructions
- In a sturdy glass, add mint leaves and one lime wedge. Using a muddler (or the end of a wooden spoon) crush the mint and lime.
- Add the other limes and the maple syrup and crush again.
- Fill the glass with ice and then add in the soda water. Garnish with mint leaves and lime.
- See noted below for a pitcher volume recipe
Notes
1 cup lime juice
1/3 maple syrup
8 cups of soda water
4 cups ice
Same method as above, except this time I suggest lime juice instead of lime’s themselves.
Try subbing for crushed ice, or if you don’t have lime, try lemon.
If you don’t have a muddler, crush the mint leaves in your hand and use the lime syrup.
