Heart and mind aligned: Why WFPB is great for our most vital organs

Whole food plant-based food (WFPB) has a direct impact on two of the body’s most essential organs, the heart and the brain. It’s rare for valuable advice on both to arrive in the same timeframe, but the last two weeks have been an exception.

For those who missed the live online presentations, you can catch up from the links below, but before heading over, this brief evaluation may prove helpful.

Top marks would have to go to the Esselstyn Foundation for a discussion between Jane and her father (none other than Dr Caldwell himself, of course) covering information on his latest case studies.

In the brief video clip below, you get a nice dose of their wonderfully warm sense of humour, but more than anything, and perhaps for the first time publicly, Dr Esselstyn explains what makes his approach so successful. Check it out.

The Esselstyns are surely perfect proof that if you want to eat this way, there are good reasons to be happy about it; the benefits come naturally and positively impact ALL areas of the human body. To view the full presentation, click on the button below.

Reversing depression

Also worth watching is an interview with Dr Neil Nedley, featuring one of his former patients, Jared Layman, conducted by Hope Chanel’s Anil Kanda.

The question under discussion here is: Can depression be reversed?

Dr Nedley’s program works to reverse depression by addressing its biochemical, cognitive, and spiritual root causes, boasting a high clinical response rate and emphasising long-term recovery.

He offers a 10-day intensive treatment that combines biochemical, cognitive, and spiritual approaches to reverse depression, reporting a 99% clinical response rate. In the following clip, he explains the various ways in which he tackles the problem.

But what happens when it comes to actually treating depression? In this next clip, Dr Nedley comments on the four causes of depression and what happens when you focus in on them.
