Carob Mousse
Ingredients
- 2 cups soya milk
- ¾ cup dates softened in hot water (drain water afterwards
- ¼ cup carob powder
- 2 tsp caro coffee substitute
- ¼ cup cornflour (cornstarch)
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- sliced almonds optional
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a large pot stir to combine then add in another 2 cups of soya milk.
- Heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
- Pour into a glass bowl and cover with plastic wrap, pushing the plastic down to cover the mixture to prevent skin from forming.
- Chill for at least six hours and serve sprinkled with sliced almonds (optional).
