Turmeric Brown Basmati Rice

- 1 cup brown basmati rice
- 2 cups vegetable stock
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp ground black pepper to release the benefits of the turmeric
In a rice cooker, add all ingredients. Cook according to the cookers instructions. At the end of the cooking, use a fork to fluff up the rice, and switch off the rice cooker so that it doesn't over cook.
The rice can be stored in the fridge for up to a week in an airtight container.
