Aromatic Dukkah with Toasted Spices

A fragrant Egyptian-inspired dukkah made from toasted pine nuts, walnuts, sesame seeds, and aromatic spices. Cumin and coriander seeds bring earthy depth, thyme adds a gentle herbal lift, and ground fennel gives a sweet, lingering finish. Perfect for sprinkling over roasted vegetables, salads, or warm bread for an instant hit of crunch and aroma.

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup pine nuts
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp ground fennel

Instructions
 

  • Toast the nuts and seeds for 8 mins at 200°C
  • Move all nuts and seeds to a food processor, pulse for around 25-30 seconds or until broken down but still coarse.
  • In a bowl, combine the blended mix with the seasoning.
  • Keep in an airtight container for up to three months. Store in a cool, dark, dry place.
