Perfectly crispy and golden, these air fried onions make a delightful crunchy topping or snack. Made with just thinly sliced onions, they're a healthier alternative to deep fried onion strings, offering the same satisfying crunch without the excess oil. Sprinkle these air fried crispy onions over soups, salads, casseroles, and more for a flavorful and texturally-pleasing finishing touch.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium to large brown onion

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 200℃ (400℉).
  • Peel and cut onion into thin, round slices.
  • Add the onions to the air fryer basket, making sure that they are spread evenly.
  • Air Fry for 5 minutes. Then reduce the air fryer heat to 130℃ (265℉) and continue for another 5 mins. Keep repeating this until the onions are golden and crispy.
  • Allow the onions to cool completely before adding them to an airtight container. You can store it in the fridge for one month.
